Message It's both their faults. The customer bought the product so that a professional could install the wheels. Apparently that install failed. The shop SHOULD have recommended longer studs. That option can be declined by the customer. If that advice was declined THEN it's the sutomers fault.

It's no different than me buying the wrong a part for a computer and the tech attempting to install it. The Tech should know his product and should know what works and what doesn't If the tech fries my PC, it's his fault. He should have known better.
